PRIM ORLÍK 38 DAMAŠEK LE

About the collection

The limited edition PRIM ORLÍK 38 DAMAŠEK LE fulfills several long-awaited wishes of demanding customers and collectors. Whether it is a call for a 38 mm case or a desire for a more elaborate dial. In the case of the legendary Orlík, such requests appear. After all, the more than sixty-year history of the model means that its wearers take it for granted.

Orlík, with its original mission, which was initiated as a separate project by the then Ministry of Defense, fulfilled clear goals from the beginning. Resistance to water, pressure, shocks, falls and temperature changes. It passed. And it continues to surpass its limits. There are only 30 numbered pieces of this design.

The main and striking element is the case material itself. It is an unusually processed damascus – Austenite. It combines two austenitic – non-hardenable steels. Both components excel in their low nickel content. It is hypoallergenic, suitable for contact with human skin. Together they form a captivating whole. By etching the damascus, an interesting pattern is emphasized during its production. Polishing the damascus parts is a precise manual job that takes an experienced employee up to 6 hours. The strap buckle is also made of the same material. The case itself is designed with discreet edges to protect the crown. In addition, for the required durability, it is protected by a DLC layer.

In individual and manual work, this model goes much further.

When designing it, the designers focused on the unconventional technology of the dial. It is perforated and specially varnished so that the result is a gradual gradient from the center to the edges. The message of the Orlík watches remains completely fulfilled. Accuracy and durability. Reliability in every situation. Attention from those around them, whether worn with an elegant or casual outfit. And in the case of this model, everything is underlined by a touch of elegance and hand-crafted details.

Its size flatters a man’s wrist, but it is also sought after by many women. Special emphasis is therefore placed on the choice of the strap. It is carefully selected in color to enhance the beauty of the entire model. And not only that. The quality and tradition of tanneries in France, the values of the owners and workers there resonate with our approach to work and the world around us. The manufacturer from a beautiful area near the Tarn has been writing history since 1903. Over time, it has become a symbol of luxury and quality and a synonym for deep respect for the material and respect for life and nature. Their investments in innovation and recycling are significant.

The heart of this Orlík is the in-house PRIM caliber 95.00 movement with automatic winding. Its operation can be observed at any time through the transparent cover. The company also marks the limited edition number on the rotor with an engraving of the Czech lion. With 22 jewels, it performs 21,600 oscillations per hour (3Hz).

This Orlík model is also worn by internationally acclaimed car stuntman and Czech rally driver and racer Martin Semerád. In his case, it’s all about time and seconds in every activity. And also about being able to rely on the watch.

He himself says:

In motorsport, every second is crucial and determines success or failure. Just like on the track, in life I value precision, reliability and style – values that Prim watches perfectly embody. That is why I am excited to be their ambassador. I admire a Czech brand with a rich history that combines tradition with a certain dose of nostalgia and modern technology. Prim watches are not only a tool for measuring time, but also a symbol of precise work and passion, which I enjoy every kilometer behind the wheel and every second in everyday life.

About the model

The sporty and elegant PRIM ORLÍK 38 DAMAŠEK LE model is the first in this series to put style and appearance on the same level as functionality and durability. It evokes the DNA of the original military watch, but is complemented by a touch of modernity and luxury. On the wrist, it attracts attention with a charismatic dark ring made of the same material as the case and buckle. Its task is to emphasize the personality of the wearer himself. It becomes a topic of conversation.

Inside the case ticks our own in-house automatic movement. PRIM caliber 95.

Under the transparent caseback, the rotor decoration with the Czech lion and the edition number can be clearly seen. With 22 jewels, it performs 21,600 oscillations per hour (3Hz).

The model name is printed in a technical font at the bottom of the dial. The strap is black, made of high-quality cowhide leather.
When designing the model, it was important – and we succeeded – to:
