PRIM Czech Team Italy 2026

About the collection

The XXV. Winter Olympic Games will once again connect Czech athletes and our watch. The tradition of supporting Czech Olympians and PRIM watch continues. With the same values that time cannot affect. Fair play, national pride and a great desire to win, to carry the Czech flag and to show how great athletes we have at home.

Seconds that decide who wins. Hours and hours of preparation. Countless moments dedicated to training. Honest and hard work. And time in the main role.

The watch received a beautiful design for this year’s Winter Olympic Games. National colours, sporty look, seconds and minutes displayed separately on the dial. Above the 6 o’clock marker, the symbol of the Czech flag and our team. The case back once again features the font and symbolism in the style of Vojtěch Preissig. The dominant feature of the lower half of the case back is a finely modeled relief of the Dolomites, the legendary mountain range in northern Italy, which forms the picturesque and iconic backdrop for winter sports competitions. The relief adds an element of depth, tradition, and natural majesty to the design.

At first sight, the time is clear and easy to read. The hands have strong luminescence in low light and at night. The watch case offers comfort on the wrist. Our designers emphasized the features of the watch to align with sports and meet the high demands of those who will wear it. The strap is stitched with threads in the national colours. The buttons for operating the subdials and the crown are perfectly proportioned to be used while wearing gloves. Thoughtful minimalism fully defines this design.

For the creation of each Olympic collection, we have the most qualified advisors from the Czech Olympic Committee team, led by Martin Doktor. This year was no exception.

The face of this year’s collection is our ambassador, biathlete Michal Krčmář, who was the first to wear the watch and posed with it in the stunning interiors of the National Technical Library.

This limited edition is available in a total of 100 pieces.

About the model

100 pieces as a symbol of respect for Czech athletes

The Olympic collections of PRIM watch are a traditional expression of unity and support for Olympic values. Their clean design, symbolism, and concept refined down to the smallest details continue meaningfully in this collection dedicated to the XXV. Winter Olympic Games.

National colours, the symbol of the flag and the CZE marking with the strap stitched in tricolour threads. Every look at the watch evokes a sense of pride, determination to overcome challenges, and a spirit of fair play. Our athletes belong among the world’s best, and they have done everything to take part in the greatest sporting event. They deserve our attention, admiration, and support.

Time in the main role

This saying applies twice as much in the case of sports. In matches and races, seconds decide the outcome. The symbolism of time, seconds, and minutes is emphasized in this model by subdials that contrast in colour with the deep blue base tone, resonating with winter and winter sports.
Bold indexes and hands that glow brightly in low light, a sporty look that attracts attention. Charismatic, modern, and distinctive in its details.

Biathlete Michal Krčmář

The face of the Olympic collection is the experienced and friendly biathlete Michal Krčmář. The watch appeared on his wrist for the first time, and during the photoshoot we talked not only about preparations and training, but also about future plans and his general perception of time.

Michal has been wearing PRIM watches for many years, and this Olympic model will accompany him at the XXV. Winter Games in Italy. And his message to everyone who will wear it too?

„Dedicate time to yourself and to what you do best. I personally love to spend it with my family. And also a ‘bit’ on biathlon. Wishing everyone the best of luck.“

Michal.

Supporting Czech athletes – the strength of tradition and determination

With the approaching winter season, we are closely monitoring the preparation of Czech athletes who will once again represent us at the highest level. Among the disciplines attracting the most attention this year will be snowboard slalom—not only because of Ester Ledecká, but also thanks to the new hope of Czech snowboarding, Kryštof Minárik, the junior vice world champion.

Starting this year, Kryštof becomes an ambassador for PRIM watches, which combine Czech tradition, precision, and a passion for performance. The PRIM team wishes him great success in the upcoming competitions and believes that his journey could lead all the way to the Winter Olympic Games.

The PRIM Czech Team Italy edition symbolizes not only Czech craftsmanship and elegance, but also the energy and determination of athletes who inspire us with their performances.

Kryštof Minárik

Minárik started skiing at two and a half years old and fell in love with snowboarding at six. He made his final decision to pursue winter sports around the age of fifteen, giving up his place on the junior floorball team in Vítkovice.

The results didn’t take long to come. At the Junior World Championship in Poland in March, he won the bronze medal in the parallel giant slalom and the silver medal in the mixed-team parallel slalom with Adéla Keclíková.

Minárik also competed at the senior championship, finishing eleventh in the parallel slalom and eleventh in the mixed-team event again with Keclíková.
