PRIM Orlík III

About the collection

The year 2025 will forever be remembered by collectors and fans of the first Czechoslovak sports watches as the respectable 60th anniversary of this immortal model. Orlík has become a true legend, and each new model writes a new chapter in its existence.

Orlík, with its original mission, which was initiated as a separate project by the then Ministry of Defense, fulfilled clear goals from the beginning. Resistance to water, pressure, shocks, falls and temperature changes. It passed. And it continues to surpass its limits.

Through gradual design development, individual parts of the watch are innovated to meet current trends and demands for comfortable wearing. Trends on the global watch markets also influence these adjustments. Styles change, demands for non-traditional dial designs, and demands for case size, material, and accessories such as straps.

It is still Orlík. Its original DNA is clearly legible and our task is to preserve the main significant elements of this legend.

PRIM ORLÍK III is a new evolution and successor to the II series.

The open edition will thus become the basis for other limited collections that will come out of this design.
The newly designed 42 mm stainless steel case is more ergonomic, with a lower profile and sophisticated details such as straight-cut (in the case of the stainless steel model) or angled polished hands (in the case of the precious metal variant) and a screw-down crown with an engraved pictogram, which is the symbol of Nové Město nad Metují. Water resistance to 300 m, a self-winding movement of its own design and a power reserve of 45 hours confirm that this is a watch ready to withstand even extreme conditions.

Year 2025: increased water resistance values

This model already has a guaranteed water resistance of 300 m. It thus confirms its qualities and can confidently stand alongside other world-class durable watches of a similar type. It has thus verified its original mission as a watch for military divers.

The body made of high-quality stainless steel makes this model suitable for harsh conditions, and the high luminosity of the hands in twilight and at night adds to its reliability. The durable rubber strap and buckle with a pictogram enhance all these aspects. The crown bears a pictogram. The symbol of the PRIM watch.
The heart of this Orlík is the in-house PRIM caliber 98.01 movement with automatic winding. With 22 jewels, it performs 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz). The power reserve is at least 45 hours.

The edition of this model is open.
