About the Collection

In the PRIM Senator collection, we have prepared for you exclusive men’s watches which combine the elegance of classic watches with a sporty touch. Helping to enhance their uniqueness is the use of several unconventional solutions, along with a premium movement, cut stainless steel case and a high-quality leather strap. As we might expect, the product is delivered in a luxury box.

The first thing you will notice are the two crowns, one of which is used – as is customary – to wind the mechanical movement, while the other controls a rotary tachymetric lunette moving around the circumference of the dial. A second static tachymeter scale forms part of the relief dial, with distinctive indices in the colour of the case and a view of the working movement. The dial is protected by a convex mineral glass, which is also set into the case as a visor onto the rotor for winding the movement.

Tachymeter scale

The PRIM Senator watch has a double tachymetric scale, one of which is controlled by a rotary lunette and the other is static as an integral part of the dial.

The tachymeter scales are used to determine the average speed of a moving object on a precisely specified route, usually one kilometre. It can be used, for instance, when driving along a highway by setting the start of the rotary tachymetric scale to the position of the second hand when passing a kilometre mark on the highway and then, after reaching another mark, determining the average speed according to the reading of the tachymeter second hand.

In addition, the rotary tachymeter lunette also has a 24-hour scale which can serve as the indicator of the current time in another time zone, including whether it is morning or evening.

Design

Watches in the PRIM Senator collection are available in silver, gold, and pink-gold finishes of the stainless-steel case, four colour versions of the relief dial and tachymetric scales, and a high-quality dark brown or blue leather strap with contrasting stitching in white.
